Russell W. Reid, Assoc. AIA, ASAI, AIGA, M.Arch

Russell has been involved as a student, practitioner, and educator in Architecture and allied fields since 1986. The ten years previous to this he was involved in the Commercial Art industry which included Graphic Arts and Technical Rendering. All throughout these periods, Russell has maintained his love of drawing, painting, and journaling.

Specialties include: High-end Architectural Illustration for international clientele; Master of Marker Rendering techniques and Adobe CS3 applications (Hybrid Rendering); Large-Scale Environmental Graphic Design, including: Murals, Trompe L'Oeil, Grisaille, and Fresco Secco, primarily for Public Art Projects; Assemblage Art Concepts, primarily for Public Art Projects; Contemporary Stained Glass Design; Fine Art drawing and painting; Journal keeping.

Prof. Reid currently teaches advanced visual communications and graphics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning, College of Architecture, at Texas A&M University.
