Digital and Hybrid Rendering

Digital and Hybrid Rendering

This portfolio is ongoing and regularly updated. The majority of the digital graphics here are created in Adobe Photoshop. A typical process for building these renderings is to create the subject in Google Sketchup, then follow that with a trace overlay. The hand-drawn trace overlay is then scanned at a high resolution and imported into Photoshop for the application of tone and color through a process of Layers, Opacities, and, Filters.

Some of the digital renderings employ a hybrid application of traditional media; such as, watercolor, color marker, graphite and color pencil, ink, with CAD and/or other Virtual Built Environments, along with digital photography and/or other means of entourage.
